We characterize minimal real hypersurfaces $M^{2n-1}$ of type $({\rm A}_2)$ in a complex projective space by observing some geodesics on $M$.
Note that there do {\it not} exist minimal real hypersurfaces $M^{2n-1}$ of type $({\rm A}_2)$ in a complex hyperbolic space.
