A $poe$-semigroup $S$ is regular and left duo if and only if $S$ is regular and
the left ideals of $S$ are also right ideals of $S$. A $poe$-semigroup $S$ is
regular duo if and only if $S$ is regular and the sets of right ideals and
left ideals of $S$ coincide.
