We derive the rate of almost sure 
convergence  for a linear combination of 
U-statistics under the condition that the 
kernel is degenerate or not necessarily 
degenerate.   These results also give 
the rate of almost sure convergence  for 
V-statistic and LB-statistic as special cases.
